Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI focus) (m/f/d)

🛠️ What you will do at headwAI

  • Take full ownership of our innovative AI products, from concept & architecture to implementation, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
  • Integrate advanced AI technologies (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation/RAG) to enhance product capabilities, user experience, and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary, ambitious teams to deliver practical, robust solutions on time.
  • Create and drive the future technical roadmap, continuously exploring opportunities to introduce new tech or develop new features & product innovations.
  • Mentor and grow team members through guidance on best practices, optimized workflows, and solving challenging problems together.

🎯 What we're looking for

  • Significant hands-on experience as a full-stack developer with Node.js, TypeScript, Python (or similar languages), with a demonstrated ability to create scalable and maintainable software.
  • Proven expertise integrating AI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI, RAG or related technologies) into real-world, deployed solutions.
  • Cloud application development expertise (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Solid understanding of modern development practices/tools (CI/CD, GitLab workflows, DevOps mindset).
  • Strong communication skills in English (B2 or higher); German skills are an advantage but not required.
  • Highly proactive, motivated and passionate learner with enthusiasm for innovation, technology, and teamwork.
  • Familiarity or interest in modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js is beneficial.

Salary

The salary depends on your qualifications and experience and is between 4,000 EUR und 5,000 EUR gross per month (on a 38.5-hour basis).
