IT Supervisor (m/w/d)

About the Role
- Manage and lead a team of systems administrators and engineers
- Oversee all Linux and Windows server infrastructure including virtual/cloud servers, storage, networking, security, etc.
- Monitor systems and services for performance, availability and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues escalated by the team
- Plan and implement system upgrades, migrations and new infrastructure projects
- Develop, document and enforce IT policies, procedures and standards
- Train and develop junior administrators to work independently
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors and manage supplier relationships
- Prepare budgets and financial reports for IT expenditures
- Ensure all systems and services meet compliance and security requirements
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years experience administering Linux systems in enterprise environments
- Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems like Red Hat/CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu
- Experience with virtualization technologies like KVM, Xen, VMware, Docker
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python or Perl for automation
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef
- Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with web servers, databases, caching and other online services
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills

Depending on qualifications and professional experience, we offer an overpayment in line with the market!
For this position, we offer an internal gross annual salary starting from EUR 55,000 on a full-time basis.
