Enterprise Automation Engineer *

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and procedures for enterprise use.
  • Debug and optimize existing scripts in Unix Shell and/or Windows Batch scripting languages.
  • Work collaboratively with application owners and other teams on maintaining and developing new automation projects.
  • Monitor and operate core scheduling tools, including Automic UC4, Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, and associated systems.
  • Familiar with Azure, Linux, Windows - and not being afraid of Docker and Kubernetes.

YOUR PROFILE

Requirements - ok if familiar with Linux or Windows:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a system administrator and/or DevOps, preferably as a sole administrator in a small company.
  • Knowledge of Linux Server systems management, including permissions, shares, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Linux scripting with Shell (any flavor, will need to learn to work with Kornshell).
  • Experience in administering and troubleshooting Windows Server environments, including permissions, shares, and task scheduling.
  • Familiarity with Windows scripting languages such as Powershell, CMD, and BAT.
  • Experience in debugging application issues, including analyzing log files and event logs.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and Windows networks (NFS, LDAP, etc.) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Automic UC4 scheduling tools and Java-based applications is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Azure Cloud and one or both of: Linux and Windows.
  • Experience with Automic UC4.

We guarantee a competitive salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications, starting at EUR 39.285,26 gross per year for this position, in accordance with the respective collective agreement. Salary requests above this amount will be considered depending on your previous experience and qualifications.
