The International School Carinthia (ISC) is seeking a Senior Administrator to lead the administrative office and oversee the student admissions process. This key position provides high-level support to the Director and ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the school's administrative functions.
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment. This is a highly visible role that requires professionalism, discretion, and a genuine commitment to fostering positive relationships within the school community.
Senior Administrator / Office and Admissions
Key Responsibilities
Office and Administrative Leadership
- Oversee the daily operations of the administrative office.
- Serve as personal assistant to the Director, managing scheduling, communication, and documentation.
- Maintain confidential records and support decision-making processes.
- Coordinate events, manage communications, and ensure smooth organizational planning.
- Take minutes during board meetings and prepare reports, presentations, and official documentation.
- Manage the school's Google Calendar and internal database systems (EDWIN, Bildok, Google Workspace).
Admissions Management
- Lead the admissions process for ISC students, including inquiries, tours, meetings, and enrollment documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and ensure smooth communication with families.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives for open houses and admissions events in collaboration with the Director.
Human Resources Support
- Support onboarding of new staff members, including email setup, documentation, and communication flow.
- Manage personnel information in the Directorate of Education's "Sokrates" platform in liaison with the Director.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a senior administrative role, ideally in an international or educational environment.
- Excellent command of English and German (required).
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and interpersonal sensitivity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative office culture.
