IT:U is a new technical university in Austria (Linz) dedicated to digital transformation, driven by interdisciplinary research and project-based learning to actively shape this transformation and advance it with a solution-oriented approach.

Join us as an Outreach Coordinator (f/m/d)

The Outreach Coordinator is a generalist role to work hand in hand with the Founding Director Outreach and Start-ups. The role bridges teams across the university including communication, research, technology, study affairs, and learning and is central to achieve IT:U's mission to drive digital transformation in industry and beyond.

Outreach Coordinator (f/m/d)*

Part time from 20 - 25 hours per week | Linz

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Support the strategic development of the Outreach Center

Assist in building, documenting, and improving internal processes in the Outreach division

Work on internal deliverables, e.g. reports, curate datasets, and assist in introducing new digital tools

Collaborate with teams across the university, including top and middle management, to support IT:U's mission regarding societal and industrial impact

Support event and outreach activities

Assist in identifying potential collaboration partners based on researchers' needs or funding scheme requirements

Connect external stakeholders to relevant contacts inside IT:U and coordinate new and existing collaborations

Engage with external stakeholders in a dialogue to assess needs and collaboration opportunities

Represent IT:U at external meetings with a focus on collaboration and outreach

Your strengths and skills:

Academic degree or equivalent in business, communications, engineering, natural science, computer science or related fields

3+ years of experience in (business) consulting or business development in a business environment or university

Strong AI affinity, proficient with digital tools and familiar with AI tools

Ability to quickly dive into new topics and break down complex tasks into core structures and processes

Solid project management, organizational capabilities and effective cross-team collaboration

Prior involvement in Upper Austrian ecosystem, experience in tech-related fields, entrepreneurial experience and hands-on skills in writing or graphic design are an asset

Curious, creative tech/AI enthusiast, empathetic and collaborative communicator, proactive and resilient mindset

English skills on a minimum level C1 are required for communication with internal and external stakeholders (German skills are beneficial)

Competitive compensation starting from EUR 35.000 yearly gross salary.
