Summer Internships in the Medical Device Software Industry

About the role

During your internship, gain experience in DevOps, Requirements Engineering, Software Development, Testing, Data Science, or Data Engineering. You will have the opportunity to work in close coordination with your BD colleagues in one or more of the following areas:

• Independent development of software components in C# or Web
• Evaluation of patterns and frameworks (O/R mappers, messaging, microservices, ...) and their use in prototypes
• Evaluation of requirements engineering tools in the Medical Device context
• Development of new automated test strategies in the Medical Device context
• Tool research and setup of new CI/CD pipelines
• Analysis of data coming from medical devices
• Development of computer vision based ML models and MLOps

About you

• Active Bachelor's or Master's degree (university or university of applied sciences) in
• Computer Science (or a related field)
• IT/Engineering with interest in healthcare
• Data Science (or a related field)
• Hands-on experience in software development (.NET/C# or Web UI), data science/engineering (Python, SQL), test automation or requirements engineering is an asset
• Detail-oriented, structured, and independent way of working
• Ability to analyze and think logically
• Very good written and spoken English; German is a plus
• Interested in innovative technologies in medical and/or pharmaceutical fields
• Requirement: unrestricted access to the Austrian labor market (e.g., EU/EEA citizen or a valid work permit)

Gehalt

EUR 1.600 - 2.200.- gross per month
