Senior Full-Stack Developer (w/m/x) - Vienna (On-Site), AT

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced senior full-stack developer to join our team as a full-time working employee. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in designing and building complex systems - from architecture to deployment - ideally in an enterprise environment for a minimum of 10 years. This position requires not only a strong understanding of best practices in software development and enterprise patterns, but also strong communication skills towards the customers and the ability to lead a team in complex projects:

• Strong focus on system design and analysis
• Responsible for technical decisions
• Strong understanding of customer needs and presentations
• Participation in all phases of the software development cycle
• Initial creation of well-documented and testable code
• Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to other developers
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other technical issues
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to the overall knowledge of the team

Your qualifications

• Degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hands-on experience in software development with a focus on full-stack development
• Proven experience with React, C# and Java
• Proven track record with relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture
• Experience in event driven integration (e.g. Kafka)
• Experience in Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Experience with agile development methods (e.g. SAFe, Scrum)
• Fluency in German and/or English is a prerequisite
• Experience with integration of 3rd party systems and legacy systems

Bonus points

• Experience with specific test frameworks (e.g. XUnit, Playwright)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI/CD)
• Experience with PHP, Backbone, jQuery
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Own projects to showcase the experience

Salary

The actual minimum salary is 75,000 EUR gross per year (on a 38.5-hour basis), the actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. The salary is paid 14 times per year. The collective agreement IT-KV ( EDV-KV ) applies.

Overtime

Any accrued overtime is compensated in the form of time off.
