FH Internships (FH Praktikum) in the Medical Device Software Industry

About the role

During your internship, gain experience in Software Development, Requirements Engineering, Testing, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering.
You will have the opportunity to work in close coordination with your BD colleagues in one or more of the following areas:

• Development of software components in C#, Python or Web/Mobile (Angular, React, Flutter)
• Evaluation of frameworks, tools, patterns (ORM, messaging, microservices, ...) and their use in prototypes and products
• Requirements engineering and product ownership
• Development of new automated test strategies
• Analysis of data coming from medical devices and robots (via SQL and statistical tools)
• Development of computer vision based ML models and MLOps

About you

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (university or Fachhochschule) in
• Computer Science (or a related field)
• IT/Engineering with interest in healthcare
• Data Science and AI (or a related field)
• Successfully completed a minimum of 4 semesters (by the start of the internship)
• First hands-on experience in software development (.NET/C#, Python, SQL or Web/Mobile technologies), data science/engineering, test automation or requirements engineering is an asset
• Detail-oriented, structured, and independent way of working
• Ability to analyze and think logically
• Very good written and spoken English; German is a plus
• Interested in innovative technologies in medical and/or pharmaceutical fields

Salary

EUR 1900.- gross per month
