Together with hokify and jobs.at, karriere.at is part of norika, House of Digital Recruiting. Together, we pool our expertise and commitment to the Austrian job market.

As Head of Data & AI, you will shape the data organization of the entire group and further develop its strategic, organizational, and technological foundations. Your responsibilities

  • You will further develop norika's data and AI strategy and be responsible for the roadmap for the entire data area.
  • You will lead and develop the data team and create clear structures, responsibilities, and processes for effective collaboration.
  • You will anchor data and AI throughout the organization and drive data democratization and a data-driven culture across all areas.
  • You will be responsible for a scalable, future-proof data and reporting platform across all three job platforms and establish modern solutions in data engineering, data science, business intelligence, and analytics.
  • You will ensure high standards for data governance, data quality and compliance and work closely with product development and business departments to enable data-based decisions.
  • You will drive norika's AI transformation, from identifying and implementing AI-powered automation to establishing best practices in MLOps and AI engineering for stable, scalable AI solutions.

Our requirements

  • You have several years of management experience in data engineering, analytics, platform engineering, or data science and have experience in building and developing data teams.
  • You have a sound understanding of modern data landscapes as well as experience with cloud data platforms, data engineering, data science, machine learning, analytics, and data governance.
  • You have a strong affinity for AI, understand current developments and potentials, and can assess how AI can be used sensibly for products and processes.
  • You combine strategic thinking with implementation skills and have strong leadership, communication, and change skills.
  • Even in dynamic and complex situations, you stay on top of things, create orientation, and think long-term.
  • You have very good knowledge of English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
