Job description

As a System Validation and Integration Engineer, you will be a key part of our high-performing team and thus involved in the entire validation and product integration process. It requires the mix of a technology-savvy nature and a knack for communication to get the job done.

In this job, you will be responsible for:

  • Identify, clarify and manage system validation and integration requirements
  • Drive system validation and integration process to deliver quality products to our customers
  • Define system validation architecture and integration concepts for future products
  • Plan and lead the system validation execution in collaboration with verification engineers
  • Create and maintain related documentation: system validation and integration specification, evaluation reports and training material
  • Evaluate and deploy state-of-art validation methodologies with automation
  • Analyze and drive resolution of system level technical issues/bugs
  • Interface to internal teams: requirements and application engineering, concept engineering and product design engineering
  • Contribute to innovation activities in our organization

Due to your structured and methodical working style you are able to handle abstract matters and communicate complex topics in a condensed form.
With the following knowledge, experience and skills you are best equipped for this task:

  • A university degree (master) in the field of Electrical Engineering, Software/Computer Engineering or related technical field of study
  • 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Experience with Smart Cards, Global Platform and Java card as well as with Platform or Mobile Security applications is a plus
  • Expertise in qualification of embedded products (Black Box, White Box and Regression testing) as well as with RF/HF measurement techniques and signal processing
  • Experience with wireless protocols and technologies such as NFC Forum, ISO 14443, EMVCo Standards as well as like UWB, BLE, WiFi is a big plus
  • Good understanding of Antenna Design for Secure Contactless System is a plus
  • Experience in C, assembly/ Python / Java scripting
  • Working knowledge on FPGA based validation, emulation / simulation is a additional plus
  • Experience in agile leadership/management methodologies or working as a part of an agile team
  • Experience in working with cross-site organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. German is a plus.

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G ( A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
