Job description

We are currently working on a standardized process to feed different data formats into the waveform clustering application. In your role, you will work closely with our data engineering experts to develop a pipeline for loading, transforming and delivering large amounts of data for customer-facing applications. In particular, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Implementation of data processing pipelines
  • Integration of software tools with workflows of component verification engineers
  • Support in the development of scripts for loading and transforming data
  • Investigation of possible frameworks
  • Documentation of source code and processes

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time or Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

Profile

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Computer Science, Information Technology or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

  • Experience with Python, object-oriented programming, design patterns
  • Experience with Linux and familiarity with the command line
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows is a plus
  • Experience with MATLAB is a plus
  • Knowledge of engineering best-practices such as code style guides or git workflows
  • Familiarity with using APIs (e.g. REST), frameworks and libraries
  • A structured and precise working style
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf).
