DevOps Engineer (f/m/x)
You will support the Raiffeisen Streaming Platform team, which develops and operates a group-wide streaming platform based on Apache Pulsar. Our goal is to provide developers with the best possible experience and ensure a zero-downtime offering.
What you can expect:
- Build a streaming platform based on modern technology stack
- Automate build and deployment using pipelines
- Extend the open source offering with custom developed tools, as Kubernetes Operators
- Deep-dive open-source products such as Apache Pulsar, Apache Bookkeeper, Apache Zookeeper and others
- Direct contribution to open-source products
- Analyze and develop solutions for specific needs raised by delivery teams
- Support Delivery teams with streaming knowhow, and problem solving
- Perform operations work
What you bring to the table:
- Understanding of event streaming concepts
- Previous exposure to event-streaming software, such as Apache Pulsar, Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis, either as end user or platform engineer.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools
- Practical experience AWS or similar cloud provider
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, ideally with experience of writing own Kubernetes Operators
- Good skills in either Java, Python or Golang.
- Strong emphasis on security in their daily doing
- Willingness to do Ops/SRE work
