Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems and translate them into analytical use cases and data-driven solutions
Select, ingest and prepare data, including cleansing, normalization and feature engineering to ensure high-quality inputs for modeling
Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights, validate assumptions and support model development through visualization and statistics
Build, validate and optimize machine learning and statistical models with a focus on robustness and scalability
Interpret results within a business context, translate findings into actionable insights and contribute to decision-making processes
Work with IT and operations teams to deploy models into production, monitor performance and ensure alignment with business goals
Ensure compliance with GDPR, the EU AI Act and cybersecurity standards, while contributing to innovation and identifying new use cases
- Do you have on hands experience in a similar position in industries with large, high-frequency or geospatial datasets and do you have a strong proficiency in data mining, mathematics and statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, regression, classification, clustering and dimensionality reduction?
- Are you proficient in working with Python, SQL and any vizualisation tool, and are you ideally familiar with big data technologies on GCP (Vertex AI)?
- You have strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex models and findings to non-technical stakeholders?
