Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Group Leader IT ERP Applications to lead our ERP landscape during a pivotal phase of transformation. This role is responsible for driving our SAP strategy, including our ongoing transformation program, while ensuring the stability and compliance of ERP operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the ERP applications strategy together with our Program Management, with a strong focus on SAP transformation and cloud migration
- Act as ERP subject matter expert and trusted advisor to Program Management and business stakeholders
- Program & Project Management
- Support the SAP transformation program, ensuring delivery on time, budget and quality
- Manage and coordinate ERP-related projects, balancing transformation with ongoing operational needs
- Oversee vendor and near-shore resource performance, ensuring effective delivery and collaboration
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ERP solution architects and foster a culture of knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Operations & Compliance
- Ensure ERP applications run reliably, securely and in compliance with ITIL guidelines and our Service orientation
- Maintain robust controls to meet ISAE audit requirements and other compliance standards
- Establish and monitor KPIs for ERP service delivery and vendor performance
- Partner and License Management
- Manage contracts and SLAs with external vendors and service providers
- Closely collaborate with our IT purchasing department
- Manage and oversee the software licence life cycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in IT, with at least five years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing large-scale IT projects
- Extensive experience with ERP and related business-critical applications
- Demonstrated success in vendor and stakeholder management
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise application platforms, cloud computing and immersion technologies with focus on SAP. Ability to use strategic planning to translate business goals into technology solutions.
- Excellent German and English skills (C1-C2 level), with one of the two languages at native level
- Strong project management skills, including experience with agile methodologies and change management

A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience.
We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is 59.252,76 EUR according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry). Your contact person is Evelyn Kukla, HR Business Partner.
