Internship - Chip Architect Support for Automotive Microcontroller (f/m/div)

Key responsibilities in your new role:

  • Hands-on Experience: Gain valuable insights on the latest automotive microcontroller development and in the power management of state-of-the-art microcontrollers
  • Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze, model, simulate and measure analog mixed-signal circuits and systems
  • Verification and Validation: Getting familiar with the conception, design, verification and validation of electronic building blocks
  • Data Processing: Perform data acquisition, post-processing and visualization

Further Information:
Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time or Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:

  • Education: student from the field of electronics, mechatronics, software engineering or similar
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of basic electronics circuits and digital signal processing chains
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of IC design as well as basic programming skills (Matlab/Python/VHDL/SystemVerilog)
  • Organizational Skills: Flexibility and good time management skills, as well as a genuine interest in learning new topics
  • Communication Skills: Ability of working effectively across other departments
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, German is a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
