Aufgaben:
- You will take ownership of our Google Cloud Platform environments and ensure smooth integration between internal and partner data centers.
- You will build and maintain Kubernetes clusters as the foundation of our development and production environments.
- You will set up and continuously improve the core platform infrastructure, keeping developer experience and scalability in mind.
- You will ensure a secure and reliable cloud environment, including access management, identity control (e.g. Keycloak), and network protection.
- You will support development teams in deploying, scaling, and monitoring their applications in the cloud - from setup to incident response.
- You will enable communication between services across cloud and on-premise systems.
- You will develop and optimise our Infrastructure as Code setup with Crossplane, Terraform or OpenTofu to automate and standardise deployments.
- You will contribute to initiatives around monitoring, observability, and secret management (e.g. Google Secret Manager, Cloudflare, ArgoCD).
- You will collaborate closely with teams across Development, Security, and Architecture to drive our overall cloud and platform strategy forward.
Qualifikationen:
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud engineering or DevOps.
- Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, and modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g. ArgoCD, GitLab CI, or CircleCI).
- Experience with Linux, shell scripting and APIs/networking fundamentals.
- Understanding security, monitoring, and Identity & Access management concepts.
- Ideally, a development background - you think like a developer and build with developer experience in mind.
- Collaborative mindset with great communication skills - you enjoy partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).
