Job Description
As a Senior Engineer you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for complex and large-scale construction projects. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients and international stakeholders to optimize design processes, improve technical standards and ensure cost-effective and efficient project execution.
Your key responsibilities will be the following:
- Project Work in the Acquisition Phase:
- Lead discovery meetings with stakeholders, gather and analyze feedback, and make informed decisions based on the inputs.
- Develop economic and efficient solutions in terms of system selection, cycle times, stock availability, and customer needs.
- Provide technical consultation and support to internal departments and customers to ensure tailored engineering solutions.
- Design Optimization:
- Improve and refine country-specific design standards, rules, and guidelines to ensure alignment with industry best practices and technical requirements.
- Global Networking:
- Build and maintain a global network to facilitate knowledge transfer and foster collaboration across various teams and regions.
- Interface Management:
- Act as a key interface between countries, corporate departments, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Mentorship and Knowledge Transfer:
- Share technical knowledge with colleagues and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in climbing formwork, ideally within highrise and/or powerplant projects
- Deep understanding of the design process and technical requirements for large-scale, complex structures
- Proven experience in design consultancy and managing customer relationships
- Project background in Highrise and/or Powerplants
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools
- Ability to work proactively, independently, and solution-oriented in international project environments
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
Additional Information
A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience.
We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 47,587.- according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry) on full-time basis 38.5 hours/week - use group as of IV.
