Are you passionate about building resilient IT systems and driving innovation through data?
As our Infrastructure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of IT operations by strengthening resilience and enabling data-driven decision-making. You will ensure robust data integration across infrastructure services and lead disaster recovery strategies to safeguard business continuity. This role directly supports our Scaling IT roadmap, aligning cutting-edge architecture with enterprise standards and fostering collaboration across teams to drive growth and efficiency. If you thrive on building scalable systems that power a data-driven organization, this is your opportunity to make a strategic impact and advance IT capabilities to the next level.
In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of integration frameworks to enable seamless, secure, and efficient data flow across the organisation's global infrastructure systems. This includes developing and optimising ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, managing API integrations, and establishing robust metadata management practices.
The role is responsible for the evaluation and selection of integration tools, standardising data exchange protocols, and overseeing the entire integration lifecycle - from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing maintenance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration solutions align with business objectives, adhere to security and governance standards, and support enterprise-wide data architecture capabilities.
This role is critical for enabling data-driven decision-making and operational excellence across the enterprise.
You will take ownership of the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive disaster recovery (DR) plans to address potential failure scenarios, including hardware faults, cyber incidents, natural disasters, and human error.
This role involves conducting risk assessments, defining and regularly reviewing recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with the organisation's risk appetite and business continuity goals.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to test, refine, and update DR strategies, ensuring response procedures are well-documented, actionable, and that personnel are adequately trained. Additionally, you will monitor industry trends and emerging threats to enhance resilience, minimise downtime, and mitigate operational risk - safeguarding the integrity and availability of critical business services.
You will ensure alignment with established enterprise architecture standards and strict adherence to organisational security policies. This includes creating, maintaining, and refining detailed architecture blueprints, technical specifications, and process documentation to provide clear guidance for development and operational teams.
The role involves proactively monitoring compliance, conducting regular reviews and audits to identify gaps, and implementing improvements where necessary. By fostering a culture of architectural discipline and technical best practices, this role ensures the organisation's technology landscape remains secure, scalable, and robust within a dynamic operational environment.
You will build strong partnerships with infrastructure, application, and security teams to design and deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions that meet technical and business requirements. Moreover, you will serve as a key liaison between cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment on objectives, and timely delivery of projects.
In addition to that, you will provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and adoption of best practices. You will lead collaborative problem-solving and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance team capabilities, improve processes, and ensure the successful delivery of complex integration and disaster recovery projects.
Lastly, you will champion architectural standards and security protocols across all teams, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with organisational goals.
