SAP SD Expert (m/f/d)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP SD Expert with deep functional and technical expertise in Sales & Distribution processes. In this role, you will serve as the key point of contact for SD-related incidents, enhancements, debugging, and cross-module integration topics. Your responsibility will span configuration, troubleshooting, development guidance, and working closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners.
If you are a hands-on problem solver with strong analytical capabilities and deep knowledge of SD pricing, calculation schemes, Fiori applications, and workflow maintenance, this position is an excellent fit.
Key Responsibilities
SAP SD Functional Expertise
- Design, configure, and maintain the entire Order to Cash flow
- Manage and optimize conditions types and elements and support their maintenance.
- Basic understanding of APO product allocation (Available to Promise)
- Execute and support mass data changes via LSMW.
Troubleshooting & Debugging
- Act as the primary SD consultant for incident resolution (incl. root cause analysis).
- Perform debugging and ABAP code reading to support issue identification and technical improvements.
- Provide expert troubleshooting across SD/MM/FI integration points.
Fiori & Workflow
- Support and develop Fiori Apps:
- Sales Order Creation
- Goods Receipt
- Goods Issue
- Build, enhance, and maintain SAP Workflows.
- Support and perform Fiori development tasks when required.
Business Partner & Vendor Management
- Serve as consultant and guide for external Vendor on SD-related topics, including customizing guidance and development direction.
- Support SD request evaluation, provide clarifications, and ensure proper execution by external partners.
- Provide internal IT service for the Sales and Customer Service Centre departments.
- Act as SD consultant for integrated weighing bridge software for the Goods Issue process.
- EDI: EDIFACT knowledge is a plus.
Operational Responsibilities
- Support Month-End Closing activities, including batch job monitoring and error handling.
- Handle SD incidents and enhancement requests through structured analysis and solution design.
Qualifications
- Several years (at least 6 years) of experience as SAP SD Consultant or SAP SD Expert.
- Deep knowledge in:
- Full Order to Cash flow
- Pricing/Calculation Schemes
- SD SAP-Script and forms
- SD/MM and SD/FI integration
- Experience with Fiori applications, Fiori development is a plus.
- Strong skills in debugging and ABAP code reading (no full development required).
- Hands-on experience with workflow configuration and maintenance.
- Ability to work with external service providers and guide them effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French; (German is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work proactively & independently.

Following Austrian law regulations and based on your experiences, skills and competencies, we offer a competitive compensation in line with the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 85.000,-- annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week).
