Specialist IT Infrastructure - Cloud and Datacenter (all genders)
Your responsibilities
- Ensuring reliable day-to-day operations of datacenter and cloud infrastructure environments
- Operating, monitoring, and maintaining hybrid infrastructure, including servers, virtualization platforms, storage, backup, and cloud services
- Managing and optimizing system performance, availability, and capacity
- Executing incident, problem, and change management processes in alignment with ITIL practices
- Providing 2nd and 3rd level support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex incidents
- Maintaining and operating Active Directory and Entra services (identity, authentication, policies)
- Implementing and maintaining backup and recovery solutions (e.g. Veeam) and ensuring disaster recovery readiness
- Collaborating closely with Architecture teams to implement new solutions and ensure smooth transitions into operations
- Ensuring compliance with IT security policies in coordination with the CISO
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical documentation and operational procedures
- Monitoring infrastructure health and proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities
- Coordinating with external providers and vendors for support and service delivery
- Supporting automation and continuous improvement of operational processes
Your profile
- Good command of the English language (reading, writing, speaking)
- Strong operational mindset with focus on stability, reliability, and service quality
- Hands-on experience in operating complex IT environments (virtualization, high availability, global setups)
- Solid experiens with Window and Linux Server, VMware vSphere or somparable virtualization platforms, Backup solutions like Veeam and Cloud platforms, Active Directory
- Certifications fitting to the job are welcome
- Basic-to-intermediate knowledge in networking technologies
- Experience with monitoring tools and incident management processes
- Structured, solution-oriented working style with strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong service and customer orientation when working with internal users and external partners
- Team player with good self-organization and ability to work under pressure
- High degree of reliability, responsibility, and ownership
- Willingness to travel

Last but not least, under Austrian law, we are required to state the minimum salary for this position.
This amounts to EUR 47.546,94 gross per year for a full-time role (according to the Metal Industry collective agreement).
