Shape the Future of MagentaTV with Us!
Millions of TV streams, live events, on-demand content, and a platform that must be available 24/7 - that's our daily business.
As part of the MagentaTV Engineering Team, we are responsible for the entire technical platform end-to-end: from content acquisition and signal processing to content distribution and client delivery. Together, we ensure that our customers enjoy a first-class entertainment experience anytime, anywhere.
To achieve this, we are looking for people who love technical challenges, take ownership, and want to actively shape the future of MagentaTV.
Do you have a degree in Media Engineering, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or a related field, or several years of hands-on experience working with TV, IPTV, or streaming platforms?
Are you experienced with DVB-C, IPTV, OTT, and modern streaming technologies, including protocols (e.g. HLS, MPEG-DASH, MPEG-TS, RTP, RTSP, and Multicast)?
Do you have practical knowledge of video delivery workflows and platform components such as encoding, transcoding, multiplexing, packaging, CDN, nPVR, Catch-up TV, and DRM solutions?
Are you comfortable working in Linux-based environments and do you bring solid networking expertise, ideally including Cisco technologies and multicast architectures?
Do you combine a structured, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex technical environments, while staying up to date with trends and innovations in TV, media, and streaming technologies?
Are you experienced working in agile teams using tools such as Jira and Confluence, possess excellent English communication skills, and are willing to participate in an on-call rotation?
At Magenta, we believe in diverse employees and live equal opportunities. We welcome all applications regardless of cultural and social background, age, gender, nationality, religion, disability or sexual orientation. Magenta connects all people.
That sounds good to you?
THEN WE MIGHT BE THE RIGHT ONES FOR YOU.
