Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Drive the vision & shape the strategy for public cloud IaaS services inside IT and lead and develop the cross-functional team of engineers and public cloud architects
  • Ensure service delivery for all key areas of the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure organization
  • Take a leadership role in setting team vision and direction, ensure that standards and policies are maintained and systems and solutions are documented and compliant with technical and operational standards, policies and procedures
  • Enable and empower a global team with challenging targets and innovations
  • Foster innovation, collaboration, open-mindedness and timely decision-making within the team
  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap, including business, production-, operational- and organizational priorities
  • Develop benchmark measures (KPI's, technical measurements, Performance targets and SLA's) to evaluate productivity within both the team and technology
  • Develop and control the annual operating and capital expenditure budget to ensure it is consistent with the overall strategic objectives of IT and the business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business and IT leaders to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensure cost-effective delivery of IT technology and services to meet those needs and respond with agility to change business priorities

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree (Master/PhD)in the area of Information Technology, Business administration or equivalent
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience with a strong focus on IT technology
  • Solid technical knowledge of Public Cloud Services as well as Applications architectures
  • High motivation with the ability to prioritize and perform under pressure
  • Solid leadership experience
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English to master internal and external stakeholders
  • The willingness to travel

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
