Your role at

  • As part of the Active Sourcing Team, you will be significantly involved in the development of a new product line of the platform.
  • As a Senior Developer, you build bridges between the big picture and the technical details.
  • You strive to advance the product technically and architecturally.
  • Your horizon doesn't end at code. You like to think about the big picture, from the user flows to the cooperation of the individual software components. You enjoy discovering potential for improvement and implementing it together as a team.
  • You have your finger on the pulse, know industry trends and understand what influence they have on our product.
  • You will actively work on the further development of our frameworks and tools to make work easier for all of us.

What we require

  • You have several years of software development experience with a focus on PHP, preferably in an agile product environment.
  • You are very familiar with the Laravel ecosystem and have already gained experience in the development of Laravel applications.
  • You are familiar with technologies such as Elasticsearch, MySQL, Docker and messaging brokers.
  • Clean code, clean architecture and TDD aren't just books for you, it's how you work.
  • You are aware of the advantages and disadvantages of different architectural principles and have the experience to use the right architecture at the right time.
  • You also understand the build, deploy and runtime behavior of the software you build and can communicate with DevOps and SecOps colleagues on an equal footing.
  • You enjoy reading up on a comprehensive system architecture and understanding a complex business environment.
  • You are interested in data and machine learning, ideally including prior experience in the field.
  • You see yourself as a team player and enjoy learning something new every day and sharing your knowledge with your colleagues.

What is your working day like?

Depending on the department, our working hours are very flexible and you also have the option of working from home. Almost all teams are represented at our two locations in Vienna and Linz and are well networked with each other through internal tools and regular visits.

Your salary

For this position we offer you an attractive salary depending on the collective agreement classification. For legal reasons, we would like to point out that a minimum salary of EUR 3.077 gross (full-time basis 38.5h/week) per month applies. Your actual salary depends on the number of hours you work as well as your qualifications and experience.
