Your responsibilities

The Institute is relaunching its alumni relations program to build a strong international community of future scientific leaders. This internship is an opportunity to join this ambitious project and work closely with the Alumni Relations Manager in shaping the program. In addition, you will gain first-hand experience within a Communications Team of a top research institution that passionately tells the stories of science and the people behind it. Your primary responsibilities are listed below. You will also have the opportunity to work on other projects and with other members of the Communications Team based on the team's needs and areas you are interested in.

• Assist with a database conversion by auditing and verifying data before, during, and after the project
• Add and update records with correct and up-to-date public information in various databases/CRMs
• Create lists and reports based on needs of the team and project (e.g., contacts with missing information, contacts in specific regions)
• Maintain high level of confidentiality with data and compliance with data protection policies
• Represent the Communications Team at events and gatherings

Your profile

• Working towards a degree in a relevant field (e.g., communication, data science)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (working language)
• Exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy, even for repetitive tasks
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Independent working style as well as team player mentality
