Software Engineer for Geographic-Information-Systems (all genders)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to our Map & GIS services across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Continuously improve software and GIS data quality.
  • Conduct effective design and code reviews, helping your team deliver higher-quality solutions with less rework.
  • Develop clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
  • Collaborate closely with product and development teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Your Profile:

  • Strong passion for GIS software and data development.
  • Degree in Geoinformation, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: QGIS, ArcGIS, Java, Python, SQL/noSQL.
  • Knowledge of one or more mapping platforms: OSM, Here, TomTom, as well as Geocoding and Geofencing.
  • Experience in GIS data engineering is an advantage.
  • Agile mindset and comfortable working in an agile environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
