Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Scripting and Automation: Streamlining development and operational processes through scripting and automation
• Web Services: Designing and developing web services using REST and SOAP architectures
• Application Development and Maintenance: Developing and maintaining robust and reliable software applications
• Data Science and Engineering: Applying data science and AI techniques to drive business insights and solutions
• Collaboration and Delivery: Collaborating with several teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
• Technical Skills: Basic to solid knowledge of programming and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Java, C/C++, or similar), understanding of software engineering principles and development workflows, familiarity with web services and APIs, ideally REST, knowledge of SOAP is a plus
• Language Skills: Effective communication skills in English
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a technical environment with a strong interest in supporting research and development activities

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
