Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Data Engineering: Contribute to the qualification, improvement and automation of data collection pipelines
• Artificial Intelligence: Support the enablement of AI-driven features and AI agents within our software solutions
• Data Management: Support the collection, validation, and continuous improvement of data used for AI models and AI-driven features
• Software Development: Develop scripts and small tools to automate data preparation, evaluation, and monitoring tasks
• Integration: Enable and integrate AI agents and AI-based features into existing software tools
• Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate closely with software, domain and engineers to understand requirements and improve end-to-end workflows and document data flows, assumptions, and AI-related processes to support maintainability and scalability

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time or Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering or related study program
• Technical knowledge: Basic understanding of data processing, machine learning, or AI concepts. Solid programming skills in Perl/Python. Familiarity with machine learning workflows, datasets, or model evaluation, exposure to software testing, CI/CD, or automation pipelines and interest in AI agents, LLM-based systems or intelligent assistants as a plus
• Interests: Interest in data quality, automation and AI-enabled systems
• Soft skills: Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Analytical skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Language skills: Fluency in English

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
