Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As you seize this electrifying opportunity, you'll assist customers with Infineon Medium Voltage GaN products, collaborate with teams, and contribute to technical articles. You'll guide Research & Development (R&D), ensure smooth teamwork, and oversee technical documentation.
- Define new technologies and products in collaboration with customers and Product Marketing for Infineon Medium Voltage GaN products
- Collaborate with R&D, Validation, Verification, and Production Test teams
- Review and release technical documentation in coordination with global teams
- Support customers during design-in activities for Infineon Medium Voltage GaN products
- Act as third-level customer support, collaborating with Field Application Engineering and Sales teams, for Infineon Medium Voltage GaN products
- Create technical articles and promotional materials with Product Marketing and Product Application Engineer for Infineon Medium Voltage GaN products
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
You have a passion for new technologies, and are eager to join us on our quest to create a more sustainable future for everyone. You further define yourself through clear communication skills, ensuring collaboration within your new team and among stakeholders.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Deep understanding of switching power supplies (SMPS) and power supply topologies (AC/DC and DC/DC)
- 3+ years of experience in Product Application Engineering and Product Definition Engineering
- Proven ability to navigate complex problems
- Comfortable interfacing with customers
- Willingness to travel occasionally, including the possibility of intercontinental trips
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German language skills are a plus
- Required experience in: design PCB with ECAD tool , run simulation with Spice or similar , Lab testing
The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
