Junior Project Manager (m/f/d)

Role Summary

The Junior Project Manager (m/f/d) will mainly support the Manager, PMO and the Project Management team with internal and customer projects and going forward be responsible for the coordination, implementation and execution of small to mid-size IT projects in Global IT. In addition to this the Junior PM is responsible for the administration and support of our Project Portfolio Solution. For this position we are looking for someone who has a good basis understanding of project management and the willingness to grow in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in planning and implementation of multiple IT projects within the Global IT.
  • Administration of project scope, budget and timelines to meet goals and deliverables.
  • Track project tasks and project resources using appropriate tools.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
  • Implement and manage project changes to achieve project outputs.
  • Support development of statement of requirements together with functional teams.
  • Administration and support of our Project Portfolio solution.
  • Preparation and documentation of workshops.
  • Work closely together with business departments as well as Global IT departments like enterprise architecture, IT Infrastructure or IT Solutions, Software architecture.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Completion of a degree in Computer Science - or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
  • Experience in planning and implementing of IT projects.
  • Experience in organizational projects or know-how in organizational / change management is highly welcomed.
  • Knowledge of the theories, principles and practices project management and organizational change management.
  • Experience with requirements analysis is an asset.
  • Project experience based on technologies like MS SQL based web applications, MS Azure, MS PowerBI is an asset.
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge.
  • MS Project experience is an advantage.
  • Basic Understanding of IT Infrastructure, network, databases, web applications, data integration.
  • Profound English communication skills, Solid German communication skills are an asset.

Work Environment

Regular travel up to 15% of the time.

Additional Information
