Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Be part of the global application support team with focus on operational topics for the operational technology platform
  • Work with the global development and platform teams to ensure the reliability, availability and security of the supported applications and support Infineon Business to make use of them
  • Provide best effort support to the business equipment on using the standard IT services
  • Understand the requirements from the regional business teams and strategise global solutions and implementation
  • Ensure issues raised by the business teams are well documented, provide solutions and follow up on them to closure

During an individual training phase, we will prepare you for your new tasks. With regular feedback discussions and planning of your professional and personal development we want to ensure your success in this position.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to perform some of your tasks in your home office (Hybrid) and you can arrange your working hours flexibly.

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree (Bachelor/Master) in the field of IT, Computer Science or any relevant IT fields
  • Experience in supporting applications like AntiVirus or Backup-Solutions for Endpoints
  • Knowledge with Windows and Linux operation systems, further experience with old operating-systems are beneficial
  • Experience in customer support roles
  • Good spoken and written English language skills

We are looking to fill this position through one of our partners. A valid Austrian work permit is a prerequisite. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group F-G (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
